For a man that must be the most embarrassing moment in their lives.

Can you imagine the embarrassment if your wife beats on you. For a man that must be the most embarrassing moment in their lives. I was surprised to find out that there are some women out there that beat on their husbands. I’m talking abuse like men usually do to women. Some of these guys aren’t wimpy looking either. They could take care of themselves, but they just choose not to…I guess. I just can’t imagine letting someone beat on me. There would be no way I would take it time after time. There’s no amount of love that would allow me to go through something like that. All it would take is one time to be hit and I would be gone. Once that line is crossed it will happen again, no matter how long in between the incidents, it will happen again. Once a hitter, always a hitter in my book. I am going to a vacation with Global Escapes. I can’t wait…

Do you consider yourself internet savvy? I certainly don’t.

Do you consider yourself internet savvy? I certainly don’t. I am not saying any complaints. I just don’t have the need to know that much about it. I basically just use it for e-mail and to do some research when it arises, which isn’t that often. I can go for days without getting on the internet and my world wouldn’t be all that affected. People who I love can be seen when I go to vacation trip with global-escapes.net. I don’t yearn to know the latest and greatest that the internet has to offer and I really don’t see that changing anytime soon. I know many individuals that can sit up all night playing on it. They just never get tired of looking at it and would sacrifice their whole night playing on it. I guess it’s just not that top of a priority for me. My husband gets so excited when he learns something new and always has to show me what he learned. I’m mean, it’s nice that you’ve learned something you didn’t know before, but it just doesn’t interest me to the degree that excites him. Maybe one problem is that I work on a computer all day at work and want nothing to do with it when I get home. I personally think that says it all for me. Why would I want to go home and work on a computer when I have to be on one all day? At least during the day I get paid to be on it, so I’m sticking to saying I don’t get paid to be on it at night. My town Eden Prairie, is getting really cold. Minnesota is just freezing!! At least we don’t have to pay scam priced utilities bills during summer like when I was living in California.

It’s unbelievable how many products can be recycled now a days.

It’s unbelievable how many products can be recycled now a days. I really wasn’t into recycling until I met my husband. He comes from a country that really believes in it and it truly is the way to go if we want to save our planet. Our total trash quantity is way less than the recyclables that we collect throughout the week. It really became apparent when the recyclables weren’t picked up for over two weeks. Most people just started throwing them away, but we just started collecting them in huge bags to be picked up when they resumed. I couldn’t believe that we were actually able to fill the bags the way we did, but it really wasn’t that hard to do. I use to think that it would be a pain to have to rinse and clean all the stuff that you recycle. Now, it’s just apart of the rutine and I don’t think about it much. It’s only when something doesn’t come clean in a timely manner that makes me think twice about it. What makes me laugh is when my sister comes to visit and I make her recycle her products that she uses. I thought she would give me a hard time about it, but when she seen everything that was recyclable she didn’t mind so much. It really is the way to go if we want to have a future on our planet and it should be mandatory for the whole world to do. Oh, by the way, my husband is a really recycle freak. When we had a vacation trip with global-escapes.net last summer, he actually brought back all recyclable container to just recycle. Can you believe it??? He brought back extra souvenir from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I am not telling a complaint or anything. It is really extreme. I hope recycling is not a scam like some website says….

Tax, Tax Tax!!!

Property taxes, it makes me feel like it is a scam. We’re first time homeowners and you think you’re paying enough on you’re mortgage and then you get you’re property taxes in the mail. You think to yourself what the heck is this? What really makes you sick is if you know what the individual before you was paying. Let’s just say the taxes were below a thousand dollars, well under a thousand dollars. It was an amount that is large, but very doable. Then when the property changes hands, it gets jacked up into the thousands. Plumb ridiculous and you have no choice in the matter. All you can do is apply for the piddley amount of home exemption that really gets you no where and then you wait for next years taxes to see what you’re going to have to pay again. The only way you can pay these taxes is to start putting away money all during the year and hope that you’ll have enough when the season comes around again. I feel for the individuals that just own land and have to pay these high and mighty taxes on them. They always argue that their property doesn’t even have a house on it and they have to pay. Well, to me if you don’t want to have to pay it, you better sell the property quick, because the law is the law and if you own the property you’re going to have to pay. House or not it’s your responsibility just like everybody else. I wish we could have little less of it.. I would still like to have nice vacation sometimes. Going to some trip with global-escapes.net to Eden Prairie. Minnesota is such a beautiful place during summers. I have had no complaint about going there what so ever.

Trinidad and Tobago…

We got our room for this trip from Global Escapes. The resort from global-escapes.net was amazing. I have yet to be diappointed with a place that we have stayed with global-escapes.net. We have been all over with global-escapes.net and continue to use our Global Escapes access to increase our vacation experience. It was in Tobago, in the Crown Point Area. Tobago is the more laid back of the two islands which are only 21 miles apart and you can catch regular flights or ferries to the adjacent island. The resort from global-escapes.net was right on the beach and offered live entertainment on premises. It also had fishing and scuba diving opportunities which we took full advantage of. It had a car rental place and a grocery store on the property too. Global Escapes always surprises us with the quality of lodging facilities they offer at the price they do.
They use the TT Dollar here which is based off of the U.S. Dollar. The rate is about 6-1, so the trip was some what of a money saver to begin with. Not to mention that I got our room for the week from global-escapes.net and saved some money there too. The transfer rate does fluctuate slightly on a market basis. I was even able to use my ATM card here for cash withdraws.
We were lucky enough to go here in November at the beginning of Carnival, which is a party that goes on for months. The locals, vendors, and promoters here are constantly trying to out do the last years festivities. The biggest display of the party is in the Port of Spain in Trinidad, but you can see glimpses of the festival throughout the island in smaller areas too. We ran into some good night life in Tobago at Crown Point. It is a little more laid back, but is still an experience like no other.
The waters off the coast of the islands are beautiful. The waters are crystal clear. We did some snorkeling at Buccoo Reef, and saw some wonderfully colored fish and sea life around the reef. The colors of the different types of corals all combine to form a kaleidoscope in the sea with the blue waters as the canvas of the painting.
While we were in Trinidad we went to a popular stop called a panyard. There are a bunch of these throughout the island. This is where skilled steel bands gather to practice and fine tune their art. The steel drum was invented here in Trinidad, an interesting fact that I learned while on this magical visit. Global Escapes was the tool that enabled us to take this dream vacation to the Caribbean and experience the culture and festivities of these two islands. global-escapes.net provides a valuable service to easy my vacation planning.
